Urban Street Photography Kit

The Ricoh GR IIIx Urban Edition kit delivers a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and GR Engine 6 processor inside a compact body. A 40mm f/2.8 lens provides a natural perspective for street scenes, architecture and candid portraits. The bundle adds a 64GB Extreme PRO UHS-I SDXC card, LED video light, flexible tripod, padded bag, chargers, cleaning kit, card wallet, reader and lens cap keeper for immediate shooting.

Sustained Shooting Stability

The 3-axis shake reduction system maintains sharpness during extended handheld sessions in low light. Hybrid AF and a 3-inch touchscreen LCD keep focus responsive across long walks. Full HD 1080/60p video records fluid footage without overheating interruptions. Built-in Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi handle continuous wireless transfer, while the USB Type-C port supports in-camera charging between locations.

Ready-to-Shoot Assembly

Every accessory fits the padded bag so the kit deploys in seconds: attach the lens cap keeper, mount the camera on the 12-inch flexible tripod, insert the pre-formatted 64GB card and power on. The only common friction is the first-time Wi-Fi pairing with a smartphone app, which requires a brief menu dive. No driver installation or firmware update is needed before the first frame.

Questions about this item

Does the 24.2MP APS-C sensor generate noticeable heat during all-day street shooting?

The GR Engine 6 and 3-axis shake reduction are designed for stable, low-noise output in a compact body, keeping thermal output low during extended handheld use.

Which Ricoh accessories must I already own for the GR IIIx Urban Edition kit to function?

The kit includes the camera, LI-90B battery, Li-50B charger, 64GB SDXC card, card reader, cleaning kit, lens cap keeper, LED video light, flexible tripod, padded bag and software, so no additional Ricoh accessories are required to start shooting.

Can I use my older SD cards alongside the included 64GB Extreme PRO card in the GR IIIx?

The camera accepts standard SD, SDHC and SDXC cards via its single slot, so legacy cards work alongside the supplied 64GB UHS-I card for extra storage.
