Questions about this item

How do I install the 411844 imaging drum in a Ricoh Aficio 1515, and which step is often missed?

Open the front cover, pull the old drum straight out, remove all protective seals from the new unit, slide it in until it clicks, then close the cover; the step often missed is forgetting to peel off the drum shutter seal before insertion.

When will the Type 1515 photoconductor need replacement in an MP 161, and what indicates it?

The drum lasts roughly 15 000 pages; the printer will display a "Replace Photoconductor" message and print quality will show fading or streaks when the limit is reached.
