Questions about this item

What type of attachment points does the O-ST174 strap use on the Pentax WG-1000?

The strap connects via two robust strap lugs on the camera body, suspending the WG-1000 horizontally at two points for balanced weight distribution and a secure hold.

How does the O-ST174 strap mount to the camera body?

It fastens directly to the two built-in strap lugs on the Pentax WG-1000; no additional brackets, split rings or quick-release plates are required.

How do you fit the O-ST174 strap correctly, and what step is often missed?

Thread each end through its corresponding lug, pull the webbing through the buckle to set the length, then back-feed the tail through the slider to lock it — skipping that final lock lets the strap slip under load.
