Connects a motherboard 20-pin header to two external USB 3.0 ports using a 1.5 ft cable and included bracket
Style USB 3.0
This bracket cable converts a single 20-pin motherboard header into two rear-panel USB 3.0 Type-A ports. It targets builders who have a spare internal header but no free expansion slots. The 1.5 ft cable reaches most chassis cut-outs. No extra drivers are required.
Traditional add-in cards consume a PCIe slot and often need a separate power connection. This adapter uses the existing 19 or 20-pin header instead, leaving slots open for GPUs or capture cards. The jump is worth it when the board has an unused header and the case rear panel has a free opening.
Under continuous transfer the pair shares the single 20-pin header’s 5 Gbps pipe, so each port sees half that ceiling when both are active. Thermals stay passive because the PCB draws minimal current. Cable length stays fixed at 50 cm, so routing stays predictable in long sessions.

Other versions of this model
The included bracket mounts in a standard rear expansion opening and connects to a 19- or 20-pin internal USB 3.0 header on the motherboard.
Screw the bracket into a free rear slot opening, then plug the 20-pin connector firmly into the motherboard header; the step often missed is ensuring the keyed header aligns correctly before applying force.
The 20-pin header and both USB 3.0 Type-A ports are passive connectors rated for the standard mating cycles of the specification; no scheduled replacement is required.
