Dual-slot CFexpress reader
The RIITOP card reader accepts both CFexpress Type B and Type A cards in a single aluminium enclosure. It is aimed at photographers and videographers who use cameras with different card formats and need a compact way to offload 4K or 8K footage to a computer. The two slots cannot operate at the same time, so only one card is active per session.
Driver-free setup with cable included
Connection is plug-and-play on Windows XP through 10 and on Mac OS; no driver installation is required. A 2-in-1 USB cable is supplied, providing both a USB 3.0 Type-A plug and a USB 3.1 Type-C plug that also works with Thunderbolt 3 or 4 ports. The aluminium case acts as a heat sink, helping to keep the controller cool during long transfers.
Check host port speed and OTG power
To reach the quoted 10 Gbps rate the host port must support USB 3.2 Gen 2; slower ports will limit throughput to their own maximum. On phones or tablets the OTG function may be blocked by a thick protective case, so removing the case is advised. Some mobile devices cannot supply enough OTG power to drive the reader, in which case the card will not be recognised.

Questions about this item
How do I confirm the reader is delivering the advertised 10Gbps transfer speed after connecting it?
Check your operating system's device manager or system report to verify the connection shows USB 3.2 Gen2, then run a large file transfer with a high-performance CFexpress card and observe sustained speeds approaching the interface limit.
What cables are included and do I need to buy anything else to use both USB-A and USB-C ports?
A 2-in-1 USB-C cable with a USB 3.0 Type-A adapter is supplied in the box, so no extra cable is required for either port type.
Should I choose a CFexpress Type A or Type B card for this reader?
The reader accepts both Type A and Type B cards, but only one slot can be active at a time; pick the card format that matches your camera's slot.
