Dual-Slot CFexpress Reader
The RIITOP reader accepts both CFexpress Type B and Type A cards in a single unit, letting photographers and videographers offload footage from different camera bodies without carrying multiple adapters. It connects through a USB-C and USB-A 2-in-1 cable for broad host compatibility.
Sustained 10Gbps Transfer
Rated at USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps, the interface maintains high throughput while moving large 4K and 8K video files, so long ingest sessions do not throttle to burst speeds. Actual sustained rate depends on the card performance and the host port reaching the same Gen 2 specification.
Driver-Free Plug-and-Play
No extra driver or external power is required on Windows XP through 10 and Mac OS, making setup immediate on most workstations. On some phones or tablets the OTG function may be blocked by a thick protective case or limited by insufficient OTG power, so removing the case or using a powered host is advised.

Questions about this item
Does the reader need a fan or external power when I offload 8k footage all day?
No external power or driver is required; the unit draws power from the USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and has no moving parts.
My laptop only has USB-A 3.1 ports — will I still hit 10 Gbps with this reader?
Full 10 Gbps speed needs a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port; a USB 3.1 Gen 2 port also delivers 10 Gbps, but USB 3.1 Gen 1 caps at 5 Gbps.
Can I keep using my older CFexpress Type B cards alongside the new Type A cards in the same slot?
Both Type A and Type B cards fit the dual-slot design and work simultaneously without adapters.
