CFexpress Type B USB 3.2 10Gbps Reader
This new RIITOP card reader accepts CFexpress Type B memory cards and connects through a built-in USB-C and USB-A 2-in-1 cable. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 at 10Gbps when the host port also reaches that speed. The aluminum alloy body includes heat-sink grooves for durability. The memory card itself is not included.
Suits CFexpress Type B workflows only
Photographers and videographers using CFexpress Type B cards can offload footage to Windows, Mac, Linux or Android devices with OTG support. It will not work with CFexpress Type A, Type C or XQD cards. Some phones or tablets may fail to read the card if their OTG power is insufficient or if a thick protective case blocks the connection.
10Gbps requires USB 3.2 Gen 2 host port
The reader delivers its rated 10Gbps throughput only when the computer or device port meets USB 3.2 Gen 2. With a USB 3.0 port the transfer rate falls back to 5Gbps, and the final speed also depends on the card itself. Check your host specification before relying on maximum performance.
