Indoor climate monitoring for any room

The Ring Temperature & Humidity Sensor tracks indoor conditions from -4 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit with .9 degree accuracy and humidity up to 95% RH with 7% accuracy. It is designed for homeowners or renters who want early warning of mould risk, moisture damage or uncomfortable air quality without installing a dedicated hub.

Check Amazon Sidewalk coverage in your area

The sensor connects through Amazon Sidewalk rather than your home Wi-Fi, so verify that the free nationwide network reaches the intended location such as an attic, closet or basement. No base station or separate bridge is required, but a Sidewalk Gateway must be within range for the device to report data to the Ring app.

Battery-powered operation for long-term deployment

Two included AA alkaline batteries are rated for up to 5 years of life depending on event frequency and proximity to a Sidewalk Gateway. The unit relies on this low-power link for continuous monitoring, with built-in Wi-Fi backup activating only if the primary connection drops, so sustained reporting depends on consistent network availability rather than burst transmission.
