Product Identity

The Rio Salto Floral Collection double toggle switch plate is a decorative wall cover designed for residential interiors. It fits standard two-gang toggle switch configurations and adds a cottage-inspired accent to bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces.

Design Impact

Embossed vine and leaf detailing on a semi-gloss white metal surface replaces a plain plastic cover with a premium, durable finish. The midsize 5.00" x 5.00" dimensions help conceal drywall imperfections around the electrical box while coordinating with other plates in the Floral Collection.

Installation Check

Verify that the existing electrical box uses a standard double toggle layout and that the mounting screws align with the plate's hole pattern. Confirm the midsize footprint covers any oversized cut-outs or paint lines left by the previous cover.

Questions about this item

Will the metal finish need polishing or touch-ups over time?

The smooth semi-gloss white finish on heavy-gauge metal resists wear better than plastic and does not require polishing under normal indoor use.

What is the first limitation you hit when the plate is in constant use?

The only functional limit is the fixed 5.00" x 5.00" footprint, which determines whether it fully covers the existing wall opening.

Does the plate get warm or make any noise when the switches are used all day?

No, the metal plate is passive — it generates no heat and produces no sound regardless of how often the toggles are flipped.
