24 VAC compatibility limits

The thermostats operate on 24 VAC power or two AAA batteries and do not require a common wire on most systems. They are not compatible with heat pumps that have auxiliary or emergency heat, dual-fuel or hybrid setups, electric baseboard heat rated 110 to 240 volts, line-voltage systems, convectors, radiant-ceiling heat, mini-split systems or 12 V RV systems.

Wall-mount design with screw terminals
