All-Weather Tactical Kit

The Rite in the Rain 980-KIT bundles a tan CORDURA fabric cover, a green 4.625" x 7.25" tactical notebook, and a No. 97 all-weather metal pen. It is built for military personnel, first responders, and outdoor professionals who must record critical data in rain, mud, or extreme humidity. The kit fits standard OCP cargo pockets for immediate access.

Ready for Immediate Use

The kit ships fully assembled with the notebook and pen secured inside the zippered CORDURA cover. No tools or setup are required; simply unzip and write. The patented paper resists moisture automatically, and the pen functions upside-down or through water, sweat, and grease. Standard ballpoints work only on dry pages, while water-based inks will bead off the surface.

Verify Pocket and Writing Needs

Confirm that your cargo pocket accommodates the 8.5 x 5.5 x .625 inch cover dimensions before ordering. Ensure you require the specific green tactical reference sheets, which include mapping symbols and 9-line medevac forms. Buyers needing a different paper colour, cover pattern, or a pencil-only solution should select an alternative configuration.
