Questions about this item

How do I plug the RP-203EC into my cigarette lighter socket?

Insert the male plug straight into the socket until it clicks; the step people miss is pushing it fully home so the 18-gauge wire carries the full 15 amps without overheating.

When should I replace the 12 ft extension cord?

Replace it if the insulation cracks, the female socket grips loosely, or you smell melting plastic — any of those mean the 180-watt rating can no longer be trusted.
