Wide Load Mesh Sign

The RoadPro wide load mesh sign measures 18 by 84 inches and displays twelve letters on each side. Heavy-duty nylon mesh resists water, weather, mildew and tearing. Sewn-in rubber stretch straps with plastic-coated J-hooks secure the sign to a vehicle or load. Reinforced seams add strength for repeated use.

Sustained Outdoor Exposure

The nylon mesh retains its integrity through prolonged rain, sun and wind without degrading. Rubber stretch straps maintain elasticity over long hauls, keeping the sign taut against vibration. Plastic-coated hooks resist corrosion when left mounted for extended periods. Reinforced stitching prevents seam separation under continuous tension.

Upgrade From Basic Straps

This sign replaces simple tie-down straps or unmarked mesh that lack visible lettering. The jump is worth it when regulations require a clear wide-load message visible from both sides. It is not suited for loads that need more than twelve characters or for mounting points that cannot accept J-hooks.

Questions about this item

Does the wide-load mesh elastic sign generate any noise, heat or power draw when left displayed all day?

No — the sign is a passive mesh panel with sewn-in rubber stretch straps and plastic-coated J-hooks, so it produces no noise, heat or electrical load.

What mounting points must the vehicle already have for the 18 × 84 inch sign to attach securely?

The sign uses plastic-coated J-hooks that latch onto existing tie-down rails, roof-rack bars or cargo hooks on the vehicle.

Will the 12-letter "WIDE LOAD" mesh sign interfere with older roof-mounted lights or antennas I keep on the truck?

The flexible nylon mesh and stretch straps conform around existing roof fixtures, so the sign can be positioned clear of lights or antennas.
