Wall-plate RCA connector for A/V routing

The white face-plate provides three RCA sockets in a single 118 mm by 72 mm frame. It is designed for home-theatre, projector, set-top box, camera or amplifier installations where composite video and stereo audio need a tidy termination point. The poly-carbonate thermoplastic construction resists impact for long-term indoor use.

Passive design with no active cooling or power

The unit contains no electronics, fans or power circuitry, so it adds zero heat, noise or electrical load to the installation. All signal handling is performed by the connected source and display devices. The screw-mounted plate simply secures the cables behind the wall surface.

Fits standard wall boxes with two screws supplied

Installation requires a compatible wall opening matching the 118 by 72 mm footprint and the two included screws. The plate organises cables behind the wall, removing floor-running wires from VCR, DVD, stereo or HDTV set-ups. It is not suited for installations that demand HDMI, optical or multi-channel audio connections.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 118 by 72 mm faceplate, and which step do people often miss?

Secure the plate to the wall box using the two supplied screws; the step often missed is checking that the 118 by 72 mm cut-out matches your back-box before drilling.

What maintenance or replacement will the white poly-carbonate wall plate need over time?

The high-quality poly-carbonate thermoplastic resists impacts and heavy force, so no routine maintenance is required; only replace it if physical damage occurs.

What is the first limit that appears when the three RCA ports are used continuously for long periods?

The three RCA connectors are passive pass-through modules, so sustained use does not create a performance limit; the only constraint is the 118 by 72 mm plate size.
