Expansion scope

EVERSPACE 2: Wrath of the Ancients is a full-sized expansion for the base game, released on May 11, 2025. It adds a substantial post-campaign adventure and new mid-game side quests that explore the Okkar civilization. The downloadable content is built for PC players who already own EVERSPACE 2 and want more story-driven space combat. A Steam account is required to activate the online game code.

Content headroom

The expansion introduces four new star systems packed with locations, secrets and side missions that extend playtime well beyond the original campaign. New weapons and a pilotable Wraith Okkar fighter provide fresh combat options against Ancient and alien bosses. Players who rush the main objectives will reach the end faster, while completionists gain many extra hours exploring every system and unlocking all gear.

Upgrade context

This DLC upgrades the base EVERSPACE 2 experience with a direct narrative continuation and new gameplay systems rather than a separate product. The jump is worth it for pilots invested in the lore of Cluster 34 and the Okkar homeworlds. Owners who have not finished the core campaign may prefer to complete it first, since the expansion assumes familiarity with prior events and faction relationships.
