Slim 12-inch subwoofer for tight spaces

The Rockford Fosgate T1S2-12 is a slim-profile 12-inch car subwoofer built for vehicles where mounting depth is limited. It uses a single 2-ohm voice coil and targets listeners who want Power T1 performance without a full-depth enclosure.

Check enclosure depth and amplifier stability

Verify that your available mounting depth fits the slim motor structure before ordering. Confirm your amplifier is stable at a 2-ohm load and can deliver the continuous power this driver is rated to handle.

Slotted voice coil manages heat on long passages

The engineered slotted voice coil assembly allows long excursion travel while dissipating heat during extended play. This design keeps output consistent through sustained bass passages rather than only during short bursts.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Rockford Fosgate T1S2-12 and what must I buy separately?

The package includes the 12" slim subwoofer. A suitable enclosure, amplifier and wiring kit are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the single 2-ohm version or look for a different impedance?

The single 2-ohm voice coil suits amplifiers that are stable at 2 ohms mono or 1 ohm bridged; match the amp's minimum impedance rating to this value.

What does the 12-inch size mean for real-world bass output in my car?

The 12-inch cone area moves more air than smaller drivers, delivering deeper low-frequency extension and higher SPL in a properly built enclosure.
