8-in-1 Equipment Transporter

The RocknRoller R8RT is a powder-coated steel cart that telescopes from 34 to 52 inches in length. It supports loads up to 500 lbs and folds compactly for storage or vehicle transport. Rugged 8-inch rear wheels and 5-inch front swivel casters use R-Trac foam-filled tires for smooth, maintenance-free rolling.

Who It Suits and Who It Doesn't

This cart suits DJs, live-sound engineers, film crews, contractors and anyone moving heavy gear across venues or job sites. Buyers who need a lighter hand truck for small loads or a fixed-frame dolly that does not telescope should look elsewhere.

Frame Dimensions and Capacity

The main frame uses .75-inch and 1-inch square steel tubing with a 13.5-inch wide bed and 24-inch foldable sides. Overall dimensions are 19 inches long, 8.5 inches wide and 34.8 inches high when folded, weighing 39 lbs.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the R8RT is ready for a 500 lb load after unfolding it?

Extend the frame until the telescoping sections lock at the desired length between 34 and 52 inches, ensure the 24 inch foldable sides are secured upright, then verify the 8 inch rear wheels and 5 inch front casters roll freely on the 13.5 inch wide bed.

What components come with the R8RT Multi-Cart and what must I purchase separately?

The cart includes the powder-coated steel frame with 8 inch R-Trac rear wheels, 5 inch front swivel casters, telescoping main frame and 24 inch foldable sides; no extra baskets, straps or accessories are included in the box.

Which R8RT configuration should I choose for maximum gear capacity versus vehicle storage?

The single R8RT model adjusts from 34 to 52 inches in length and supports 500 lbs; choose the extended 52 inch setting for largest loads and collapse it to 34 inches for compact vehicle storage.
