22 inch 16:10 privacy filter

The Rocstor PrivacyView filter fits 22 inch monitors with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It uses microlouver technology to narrow the viewing angle so on-screen data is visible only to the person sitting directly in front. The filter can be flipped to use either a glossy or a matte surface. It also reduces blue light emission by 37 percent.

Ideal for shared and regulated workspaces

Office workers handling confidential records in open-plan areas gain a practical barrier against visual hacking. The filter supports compliance efforts for HIPAA and HITECH environments. Buyers who need a filter for a different screen size or aspect ratio should look at other models.

60 degree side blackout angle

Content on the display becomes unreadable beyond a 60 degree viewing angle from centre. Direct visibility remains clear up to 30 degrees off centre. This angle is the key specification that determines whether the filter matches your privacy requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I clean the Microlouver surface on this 22 inch filter without damaging the tiny vertical blinds?

Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild screen cleaner; wipe gently in one direction and avoid abrasive pads or alcohol-based sprays that could degrade the Microlouver layer.

Will the 30 degree viewing cone stay effective if the filter gets scratched from daily handling?

Deep scratches can widen the viewing angle by disrupting the vertical blind structure, so handle the filter by the edges and store it flat when not in use to preserve the 30 degree privacy zone.

Does the 37 percent blue-light reduction change after the filter warms up during all-day use?

The blue-light reduction is a property of the filter material itself and remains consistent at 37 percent regardless of operating temperature during extended sessions.
