24-inch 16:10 Privacy Filter

The Rocstor PrivacyView filter fits a 24-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It uses microlouver technology to narrow the viewing angle so on-screen data is visible only from directly in front. The filter reduces blue light by 37 percent and can be used with either a glossy or matte surface facing out.

Suited for open-plan offices and compliance needs

Professionals handling sensitive records in shared spaces will benefit from the restricted viewing angle and regulatory alignment with HIPAA and HITECH. Users who need wide collaborative viewing angles or who work on monitors with a different aspect ratio or diagonal size should look at alternative privacy solutions.

Handles 30-degree direct view

The filter comfortably protects content viewed within 30 degrees of centre while blacking out the screen beyond 60 degrees from centre. It weighs 1.4 units and adds a physical layer that shields the panel from scratches and glare. Very large or ultra-wide displays beyond the 24-inch 16:10 specification are not supported.

Questions about this item

Does the 24 inch filter fit my 16:10 monitor without a frame?

The unframed filter is sized for 24 inch screens with a 16:10 aspect ratio and rests directly on the display surface.

Will the filter still work if I keep my monitor's existing glossy coating?

Yes, the filter can be applied with either the glossy or matte side facing out, so it works over the original coating.

How can I confirm the 30 degree viewing limit is active after I install it?

View the screen from the side; content should disappear beyond 30 degrees off centre and be fully blacked out past 60 degrees.
