Two-person wireless microphone system

The Rode Wireless PRO equips two presenters with clip-on transmitter-recorders that each carry a built-in omnidirectional capsule and ship with a Lavalier II lapel mic. A dual-channel receiver connects to cameras, smartphones or computers via 3.5 mm TRS, making the kit suitable for interviews, podcasts and mobile content creation.

32-bit float backup recording for forty hours

Each transmitter stores up to forty hours of 32-bit float audio internally, providing a safety net against wireless dropouts or clipped levels. Intelligent GainAssist manages levels automatically while the receiver’s metering display lets you monitor signal and battery status at a glance.

Timecode sync for post-production alignment

Built-in timecode support lets editors lock audio to video without manual syncing, and encryption secures the 2.4 GHz link during sensitive recordings. A headphone jack on the receiver enables real-time confidence monitoring throughout the shoot.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the clip-on transmitters to clothing and what is the step people often miss?

Clip each transmitter to a lapel or collar, then connect the included Lavalier II mic to the 3.5 mm input; the step often missed is switching the transmitter to external-mic mode so it uses the lavalier instead of the built-in capsule.

What maintenance or replacement will the Wireless PRO system need later?

The internal batteries are not user-replaceable; plan to recharge them via USB-C after each session and replace the lavalier windshields if they become worn or damaged.

What limit appears first during a long recording session?

The on-board 32-bit float recorder stores up to 40 hours before it fills, so that capacity ceiling is reached before the 2.4 GHz link range becomes an issue.
