The lens covers both full-frame and APS-C sensors, making it suitable for architecture, landscape and astrophotography work.

Fitting the lens and common issues

Mount the lens like any EF optic; the electronic chip communicates aperture data to the body without extra adapters. Because focusing is entirely manual, users must rely on the focus ring and magnification aids rather than autofocus.
