The Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 Series II is a manual-focus prime lens built for Nikon F-mount cameras. Its wide f/1.4 aperture and nine-blade diaphragm create shallow depth of field and smooth background blur suited to portrait and low-light photography. The optical formula uses nine elements in seven groups including a hybrid aspherical element and Ultra Multi-Coating to reduce flare and chromatic aberration. A minimum focus distance of 3.6 feet with 0.09x magnification allows close-up detail work.

AE chip and de-click ring change exposure control

The integrated AE chip enables electronic aperture confirmation and metering communication with compatible Nikon bodies, so the camera can display the selected f-stop and record it in EXIF data.
