Reception chair with wall-guard legs

The Romig Regent is a wood-framed guest chair finished in Noble Oak hardwood with navy blue vinyl upholstery. It is built for reception areas, executive offices and medical waiting rooms where a professional appearance and easy cleaning are priorities. The sturdy hardwood frame supports daily use in high-traffic spaces.

Wall-contact protection limits

The patented WallGuard leg design makes the rear legs touch the wall before the backrest does, shielding both surfaces from impact damage. This feature works only when the chair is pushed straight back against a flat vertical surface; angled placement or uneven walls reduce its effectiveness. The vinyl covering resists stains but can be punctured by sharp objects.

Simple placement with alignment care

No assembly is required beyond removing packaging, so the chair is ready to use immediately. The main installation issue is positioning: if the chair is not centred against the wall, the WallGuard legs cannot engage evenly and one side may still mark the surface. At 25 weight units the chair moves easily but stays stable once placed.

Questions about this item

Is the Regent Wallguard Chair available in other finishes besides Noble Oak and Navy Blue vinyl?

The chair frame is offered in Noble Oak or Neo Walnut hardwood finishes. The seat and back are upholstered in Navy Blue vinyl as shown.

How does the 25 lb weight affect moving the chair around a reception area?

At 25 lbs the chair is light enough for staff to reposition easily, yet heavy enough to remain stable when guests sit down or stand up.

What does the WallGuard leg design actually protect in daily use?

The rear legs contact the wall before the chair back does, shielding both the wall surface and the chair frame from scuffs and impact damage.
