Compact Thermal Label Printer

The Rongta RP425A is a 4x6 inch direct thermal label printer designed for small business shipping and product labelling. It prints without ink or toner, using heat-sensitive media to produce sharp barcodes and text. The unit measures 18 cm by 6 cm by 8 cm and weighs .57 kilograms, making it easy to place on a crowded desk.

Bluetooth and USB Connectivity Limits

Wireless printing requires the RONGTA app on iOS or Android devices, while USB printing needs a downloaded driver for Windows or Mac computers. The printer accepts label widths from .98 inches up to 4.37 inches, with a maximum print size of 4 by 6 inches. No Wi-Fi, Ethernet or AirPrint support is included, so network sharing must be handled by the host device.

Replaces Inkjet or Laser Label Workflows

This printer eliminates the recurring cost of ink cartridges and toner, suiting businesses that ship daily and want low maintenance. It does not print colour graphics, photos or documents on plain paper, so users needing full-colour packaging slips or marketing inserts will still need a separate printer. The jump is worth it when volume justifies a dedicated thermal roll solution.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 220, 500, 750 or 1000 label bundle for my RP425A?

The 220-count pack suits occasional shipping; 500 or 750 labels cover a steady small-business flow; 1000 labels minimise re-ordering for high-volume days.

What does the 4.37-inch maximum print width mean when I load a 4 x 6 inch label roll?

It lets the RP425A print edge-to-edge on standard 4-inch wide shipping labels, so barcodes and addresses use the full label width without margins.

Does the Bluetooth or USB connection limit how fast the RP425A can print labels?

Bluetooth is convenient for phone printing via the RONGTA app; the USB link to a PC or Mac delivers the full thermal engine speed for batch jobs.
