LEGO Storage Brick 12.1 Litre Capacity

This official LEGO storage box is a 1600% upscaled model of a classic brick, measuring 500 x 250 x 180 mm. It provides 12.1 litres of volume for toys, bricks and small items. The stackable design lets you build vertical storage columns in a playroom or bedroom. Recommended for ages three and up, it suits families who want organisation that doubles as colourful décor.

Stackable Design For Sustained Organisation

The hollow interior holds between 100 and 1,600 bricks depending on piece size, keeping collections sorted by colour, theme or type over long periods. Boxes lock together like real LEGO bricks so towers remain stable when fully loaded and accessed daily. The rigid PP plastic construction maintains its shape without bulging, so the stack stays secure even after years of repeated filling and emptying.

Safe PP Plastic Easy Clean Low Maintenance

Made from BPA, phthalate and PVC free polypropylene, the box is non-toxic and safe for children's environments. A damp cloth removes dust or spills without degrading the material. The smooth surfaces have no sharp edges or crevices where dirt accumulates, so routine cleaning stays quick. No power draw, no noise and no heat are produced, making it a passive addition to any room.

Questions about this item

Does the 500 x 250 x 180 mm box generate any noise or heat when left in a room all day?

The storage brick is made of solid PP plastic with no moving parts, so it produces no noise, no heat and draws no power.

What must I already own for the 40040660 brick to be useful?

You only need items to store inside — such as LEGO bricks, toys or small accessories — because the box itself is a standalone container.

Can I stack the 1600 % scale brick on top of original LEGO bricks I already have?

The enlarged brick is designed to stack with other Room Copenhagen storage bricks of the same size; it does not interlock with standard LEGO studs.
