Compact stereo speakers for everyday listening

The ROSON RC-CO706 is a 2.0 channel speaker set designed for desktop, laptop, smartphone and tablet users who want simple audio without a separate subwoofer. Two dynamic drivers deliver 6 W total RMS power from a 5 V USB supply. A 3.5 mm auxiliary input carries the signal while the USB cable provides power from any 5 V source. The matte black cabinets measure 3.18 in x 3.11 in x 6.3 in and weigh 0.712 kg combined.

Plug-and-play integration with minimal cabling

Each speaker connects to the other with a 100 cm cable, while the USB and aux leads run 123 cm to the host device. No driver installation or external power adapter is required; the system draws 5 V directly from a USB port or a standard 5 V charger. A front-mounted rotary knob on the right satellite adjusts volume locally, and the host device can also control level. The RGB strip cycles through seven fixed modes automatically.

Steps up from built-in laptop or monitor audio

These speakers replace the thin sound of integrated drivers with a wider 360-degree soundstage and a claimed 30 dB signal-to-noise ratio. The upgrade is worthwhile when you need louder, clearer playback for music, video calls or casual gaming at a desk. They do not suit users who require deep bass extension, a dedicated subwoofer output, Bluetooth connectivity or a remote control beyond the wired knob.

Questions about this item

How loud can the 6 W speakers go before the 30 dB signal-to-noise ratio lets hiss become obvious?

At full volume the 30 dB signal-to-noise ratio means background hiss will be audible during quiet passages, so the practical loudness limit is reached before the 6 W maximum.

Do the drivers or the USB power supply generate noticeable heat after hours of continuous playback?

The 5 V USB supply and 4 Ω drivers stay cool during all-day use; no active cooling is needed and the cabinets remain near room temperature.

Which ports must my device already have for the 3.5 mm aux and USB cables to work?

Your laptop, desktop, tablet or phone needs both a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack and a free USB-A port for power.
