What this massager does

The ROUYIL RY-818 is a cordless neck massager designed for people who want portable relief from muscle tension without being tethered to an outlet. Its battery-powered design lets you use it at a desk, on a sofa or while travelling. The wrap-around shape targets the neck and shoulders with Shiatsu-style kneading and an optional heating function.

Heat and kneading over time

The heating element reaches 40-50°C in roughly 30 seconds and can run independently or together with the 4D kneading nodes. An auto shut-off feature stops the session after a set period, which prevents the unit from running continuously if you fall asleep or forget to turn it off. This makes it suitable for repeated daily use without overheating concerns.

Weight and size for portability

At 1.15 kg and measuring 4.7 by 4.7 by 11.4 inches, the massager is light enough to drape around the neck without feeling heavy, yet large enough to cover the upper trapezius area. Buyers who need a device that fits in a small bag or luggage should check these dimensions; anyone wanting a full-back pad or a lighter wearable will need a different form factor.

Nothing extra is required; the unit contains its own rechargeable battery and operates completely cordless.

Will the 1.15 kg wrap-around design sit comfortably on an older office chair with a high back?

At 1.15 kg the massager rests lightly on the shoulders, and its 4.7 × 4.7 × 11.4 in frame clears most high-back chairs without catching.
