Clear Co-Polyester Storage Bin

The Rubbermaid 12 qt square container is made from clear co-polyester so contents are visible at a glance. It suits homeowners, garages or light commercial shelving where quick identification matters. The square footprint stacks neatly on standard shelves. Buyers needing modular drawer systems or latching lids should look elsewhere.

Lightweight Durable Construction

At 1.59 lb the bin is easy to lift when full yet resists cracking in normal indoor and outdoor temperatures. No powered cooling or moving parts mean silent operation and zero energy draw. The material withstands routine cleaning without clouding. Extreme impact or sustained UV exposure may shorten service life.

Questions about this item

How do I secure the lid on the 12 qt container so it stays closed?

Align the lid corners with the container rim and press down firmly until all four tabs click into place; the step most people miss is pressing the centre of each tab rather than just the edges.

Will the clear Co-Polyester material need replacement due to clouding or cracking?

The Co-Polyester resists clouding and cracking under normal indoor use; replacement is only needed if the container suffers heavy impact or prolonged direct UV exposure.
