Latex-free vinyl bath mat

The Rubbermaid 1982726 is a latex-free vinyl bath mat measuring 16 x 28 inches in white. It provides a slip-resistant surface for bathtubs and shower floors. The Safti-Grip design helps reduce the risk of falls during bathing. This product is sold new from Rubbermaid Commercial.

Suited for standard tubs and latex allergies

The mat fits rectangular tubs that accommodate a 16 by 28 inch footprint. It suits users who require a latex-free option due to sensitivities or allergies. Buyers with smaller shower stalls or non-rectangular basins should verify dimensions before purchasing. Those seeking machine-washable fabric tops or antimicrobial treatments will not find those features here.

16 x 28 inch footprint

The decisive specification is the 16 x 28 inch size, which determines whether the mat covers the intended area. Confirm your tub or shower floor matches this footprint for proper adhesion and coverage. The white vinyl construction is latex-free and designed for wet environments.

Questions about this item

What type of tub surface does the 16 x 28 bath mat require for the suction cups to grip?

The mat uses suction cups that need a smooth, non-textured tub or shower floor; porous, tiled or heavily textured surfaces will not hold it securely.

Can the 16 x 28 mat be used inside a tub that already has a built-in textured bottom?

A factory-textured tub bottom prevents the suction cups from sealing; the mat will shift and should not be relied on for slip resistance in that case.

How can I confirm the 1982726 mat is staying in place after I press it down?

Press firmly on each suction cup, then tug the mat gently; if it does not lift or slide, the cups have sealed and the mat is secure for use.
