Hands-Free Kitchen Bin

The Rubbermaid 2112520 Elite Step-On Trash Can is a 12-gallon container finished in charcoal stainless steel. A sturdy foot pedal opens the lid without hand contact, while a slow-close mechanism lowers it quietly. The fingerprint-resistant surface keeps the exterior looking clean. It suits households wanting hygienic waste disposal with a sleek, modern profile.

Suits Compact Spaces; Not for High-Volume Areas

This bin fits well in bedrooms, bathrooms, nurseries, kitchens or workshops where a slim 16-inch footprint is helpful. The extended lid lock holds the top open for longer clean-up tasks. Buyers who need more capacity for heavy kitchen waste or commercial volumes should consider larger receptacles.

12-Gallon Capacity Decides Fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 12-gallon volume. At 26 inches high, 16 inches wide and 19 inches deep, it occupies modest floor space while holding several days of typical household refuse. If your daily waste exceeds this amount, the bin will require frequent emptying.
