Brilliance Glass 8-Cup Set

This Rubbermaid 2118315 set provides two 8-cup glass containers with matching lids for home kitchen storage. The clear bases and lids let you identify contents at a glance. They suit anyone preparing meals ahead or storing leftovers. The modular design helps keep fridge shelves tidy.

Capacity and Temperature Range

Each container holds eight cups of food, giving enough room for family portions or batch-cooked ingredients. The glass bases withstand oven heat up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit for baking or reheating. Lids stay on during microwave use when vented, but are not oven-safe. Freezer storage is also supported.

Build Quality and Daily Use

StainShield lids resist odours and stains while maintaining a 100 percent airtight, leak-proof seal. The Smart Lid System allows the same lids to fit other same-size Brilliance containers regardless of material. Containers stack securely to save space in cupboards. All parts are dishwasher-safe with lids on the top rack.

Questions about this item

Will the 11.6 in x 7.6 in x 2.77 in glass bases stack securely with my existing Brilliance containers of the same footprint?

Yes, the modular design ensures these 8-cup bases stack perfectly with same-size Brilliance containers, and the universal Smart Lid System lets the included lids fit across all Brilliance containers of matching dimensions.

How can I verify the 100% airtight and leak-proof seal is functioning after I first wash the containers?

Fill a container with water, snap the lid shut with all four latches engaged, then invert and gently shake — no liquid should escape and the lid vents will remain closed until you unlatch for microwaving.

Does the set of 2 include both the glass bases and the StainShield lids, or must the lids be purchased separately?

The set includes two 8-cup glass bases and two matching StainShield lids — four pieces total — so nothing extra is needed for immediate use.
