51-Gallon Round Trash Can

This 51-gallon round trash can is built for outdoor sites that generate high volumes of waste. The open-top design allows quick disposal without lifting a lid. Stainless steel construction with a powder-coated finish resists corrosion in exposed environments. It suits parks, campuses and commercial grounds where a stationary, free-standing receptacle is required.

Open-Top Outdoor Constraints

The absence of a lid means contents are exposed to rain, wind and animals. Light debris can blow out in strong gusts. The UV protectant coating slows colour fade but does not make the unit weatherproof. Buyers who need contained waste or odour control should consider a lidded alternative. The stationary design prevents relocation once positioned.

Stainless Steel Build and Daily Use

A rigid plastic liner sits inside the stainless steel shell, simplifying emptying and reducing metal fatigue. The 24-inch diameter and 35-1/2-inch height give a low centre of gravity for stability on flat surfaces. Powder coating adds scratch resistance during routine cleaning. Free-standing placement requires no anchoring hardware or wall mounting.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the 51 gal capacity and other sizes?

The 51 gal capacity suits high-traffic outdoor areas; select a smaller can if waste volume is lower or space is limited.

What does the 35-1/2 in. height mean for daily use?

At 35-1/2 in. tall, the can allows most users to deposit waste without bending, and it fits under standard commercial counter overhangs.

How does the open-top design affect outdoor performance?

The open top speeds disposal in busy zones, while the UV-protectant powder-coated stainless steel resists weathering without a lid.
