4.6 gal Nestable Storage Tote

The Rubbermaid FG334900GRAY is a 4.6 gallon plastic container with a grey body and rounded corners. It is designed for commercial and household organisation where space efficiency matters. The tote includes a lid and nests inside identical units when empty. NSF certification confirms it meets public health standards for food contact.

Capacity and headroom

The 4.6 gallon volume holds small tools, cleaning supplies or dry ingredients in a footprint of 20 in length by 15 in width. The 5 in overall height keeps the profile low for shelf or cabinet placement. It runs out of room for bulky items or tall bottles and cannot be stacked when loaded because it is not stacking capable.

Build fit and freedom

Nesting capability frees shelf space when containers are not in use by allowing them to sit inside one another. The rounded corner design reduces snagging on shelving edges and makes cleaning easier. A flat, level surface is needed for stable placement since the base is not reinforced for uneven ground. The lid seals the contents but is not hinged.

Questions about this item

Will the 20 in length and 15 in width fit on my existing shelving?

The container measures 20 in long by 15 in wide, so compare those dimensions to your shelf depth and spacing before purchasing.

How can I confirm the lid seals properly after I put it on?

Press the lid down until the rounded corners snap into place; a tight fit with no gaps shows the seal is working.

Does the 4.6 gal container come with the lid or do I order it separately?

The product is listed as a nesting tote with lid not included, so the lid must be purchased separately.
