Grounds Maintenance Ash Tray Sand

This Rubbermaid FGB25 package supplies 25 lb of black silica sand for commercial ash trays and smoking receptacles. The material is packaged in five individual 5 lb bags for easy handling and storage. Facilities managers and grounds crews use it to extinguish cigarettes cleanly in outdoor areas.

Simple Pour-In Installation

Installation consists of opening a bag and pouring the sand into the receptacle until the desired depth is reached. The fine silica flows freely and settles evenly without compacting tools. The only common issue is moisture absorption if bags are stored in damp conditions, which can cause clumping and require breaking up before use.
