Two keys and spacer included

The package supplies two keys so a spare is available immediately. The spacer ensures the lock cylinder seats correctly in the container’s square mounting hole. No additional hardware is required for installation.

Steel build with square mounting

The silver steel body resists corrosion in garage environments. A square container shape and one inch height align with the factory cut-out on supported models. The three inch length provides full engagement without protruding.

Questions about this item

Will the spacer wear out and need replacing after repeated use?

The spacer is made of steel and is designed to fit containers sized 35 gal and 50 gal, so it should not require routine replacement.

What limits how long the lock can stay engaged under daily use?

The lock is a mechanical steel unit without electronic components, so no thermal or duty-cycle limit is specified.

Does the lock generate heat or noise when left locked all day?

It is a passive steel lock and key set with no moving powered parts, so it produces no heat or noise during continuous use.
