24-port 1/10 Gbps SFP+ aggregation switch

The Ruckus ICX7550-24F is a managed, stackable Layer 3 switch built for the aggregation layer. It provides 24 SFP+ ports operating at 1 or 10 Gbps and two QSFP+ ports for 40 or 100 Gbps uplinks or stacking. The platform supports a broad range of L2 and L3 protocols including RIP, OSPF and BGP for flexible network design.

Modular chassis requires separate power

This switch ships without power supplies, fans or port modules; they must be sourced and installed separately. The chassis accepts AC input from 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz or DC input from 40 to 60 V via a C14 or Dinkle 2EHDP-03P inlet. Installers must plan for the correct power modules and airflow direction before deployment.

803 Mpps forwarding with 8 MB packet buffer

The switch delivers a forwarding capacity of 803 Mpps at full duplex with a 12,288-byte jumbo frame limit and an 8 MB packet buffer. Power draw ranges from 66.7 W at light load without PoE to 142.7 W at full traffic. Networks needing higher port density or integrated power supplies will need a different platform.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the ICX7550-24F is forwarding traffic at the rated 803 Mpps after setup?

Monitor the forwarding capacity counters in the CLI or embedded web management; the switch reports full-duplex data-rate throughput up to 803 Mpps under load.

Which power supplies, fans and port modules must be purchased separately for the ICX7550-24F?

The unit ships without any power supply, fan tray or expansion module; you must order compatible AC (C14 inlet) or DC (Dinkle 2EHDP-03P inlet) power supplies, fan trays and any desired port modules separately.

Should I choose the 24-port 1/10 Gbps SFP+ model or a version with different uplink speeds?

This model provides 24 SFP+ ports at 1/10 Gbps plus two QSFP+ ports operating at 40/100 Gbps for uplink or stacking; select it when you need that exact port mix and the modular slot for future expansion.
