A 48-port stackable Layer 3 switch with 309 Mpps forwarding, dual 40 Gbps uplinks, two 400 W AC supplies and modular uplink slots for Wi-Fi 7 deployments
The RUCKUS ICX 7550-48-E2 is a stackable Layer 3 switch with 48 RJ45 ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps connectivity. It targets enterprise networks that need high-density gigabit access and advanced routing features for Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 deployments.
The bundle includes two 400W AC power supplies and three fans with front-to-back airflow for redundant cooling and power. Port modules are sold separately, so uplink or stacking expansion requires additional purchases to activate the modular slot and QSFP+ ports.
Stacking supports up to 12 switches, delivering a combined 576 gigabit, multigigabit or fibre ports with a 309 Mpps forwarding rate. The dual 40 Gbps QSFP+ uplinks provide high-speed aggregation, but 100 GbE uplinks need separate optics not included in this package.
Measured against everything we stock in Ethernet & PoE Switches, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Three fans are included with front-to-back airflow; replacement timing depends on operating temperature and duty cycle.
Twelve switches stack to 576 ports; each switch provides two 40 Gbps QSFP+ uplink/stacking ports.
Dual 400 W AC supplies accept 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz; switch consumption at 25 °C is specified in the data sheet.
