A managed 24-port Gigabit switch with four 10 GbE SFP+ uplinks, fanless design and Layer 3 static routing
The RUCKUS ICX 8100-24-X is a managed 1RU switch built for business networks that require silent operation. It provides 24 RJ-45 ports running at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps plus four SFP+ uplink ports capable of 1 or 10 GbE speeds. The fanless design makes it suitable for quiet office environments or noise-sensitive deployments.
The four SFP+ uplink ports are the specification that determines fit: they deliver 1 or 10 GbE aggregation for the 24 copper access ports. If your design needs more than four high-speed uplinks or requires PoE power delivery, this model does not meet those requirements.
The 1RU fanless chassis mounts in a standard rack without adding acoustic load, freeing thermal headroom for adjacent equipment. It requires an external power cord and SFP+ transceivers for the uplink ports, while the RJ-45 ports connect directly to endpoints using standard twisted-pair cabling.

It indicates the switch can process up to 42 million packets per second at full duplex across all ports.
Each SFP+ uplink runs at 1 or 10 GbE depending on the transceiver fitted.
The chassis is a 1RU design and ships with brackets for standard four-post racks.
