SKU CH-HTG4-ZK0CR

Adds eight SAS ports and 512 MB cache to a server with the ASR-5805 RAID controller

  • 512 MB cache accelerates array rebuilds and parity calculations
  • Eight SAS ports connect multiple drives to one controller
  • PCIe interface provides high-throughput link to the server
  • Hardware RAID offloads CPU for improved system responsiveness

8-Port SAS RAID Controller

The ASR-5805 provides eight SAS ports and 512MB cache for server storage arrays. It connects through a PCIe slot to manage multiple drives in RAID configurations. This card suits administrators building or expanding direct-attached storage in rack or tower servers.

Thermals and Power in Normal Use

The controller operates within standard server airflow without supplemental cooling. Power draw remains low enough for typical PCIe slot limits under normal workloads. Acoustic output is negligible in a chassis with managed fan curves.
