This cable connects a USB Type-C host to devices fitted with a USB 3.0 Type-B port. It supports data rates up to 10 Gbit/s for fast file transfers. The link suits phones, laptops, printers, hard disks and scanners. Plug it in and the connection works immediately.

Not for Micro-B or Lightning devices

Buyers whose peripherals use Micro-B, Mini-B or Lightning connectors cannot use this cable. It also does not fit hosts that only offer legacy USB Type-A ports. Users needing video output or power delivery beyond the USB 3.1 specification should select a different cable type.

Check the host's USB controller details or run a large file transfer to a fast SSD and verify speeds approach the 10 Gbp/s rating.
