USB-C PD cable for ASUS Zenbook

This USB-C PD charging cable ends in a 4.0×1.35 mm barrel connector and is built for ASUS Zenbook UX21A UX31A UX32A UX32V models. It lets owners power those laptops from any USB-C Power Delivery source. Buyers needing a different barrel size or a proprietary tip for another brand cannot use this cable.

Thermals noise and power draw

The cable itself generates no audible noise and adds negligible heat during normal charging. Power draw is determined by the connected USB-C PD source and the laptop's own charging circuit. No active cooling or fan is present in the cable assembly.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 4.0×1.35 mm barrel to my Zenbook UX31A without bending the pin?

Align the centre pin straight into the laptop socket before pushing the barrel home; forcing it at an angle is the step that damages the connector.

When should I replace the cable if the USB-C plug or 4.0×1.35 mm tip shows wear?

Replace it as soon as the USB-C shell feels loose in the charger or the barrel wobbles in the UX32A port, because intermittent contact can stress the laptop's charging circuit.
