  • Built-in discharge function refreshes batteries before charging to restore capacity
  • Microprocessor control with negative delta-V cut-off and safety timer prevents over-charging
  • Sixteen pre-charged 2600 mAh AccuLoop-X NiMH AA cells retain 85 % charge after one year storage
  • Universal 100 – 240 V AC adaptor allows worldwide use without extra converters

8-bay charger with 16 AA cells

This bundle pairs an eight-bay LCD charger with sixteen AA AccuLoop-X NiMH cells rated at 2600 mAh. It is suited for households, photographers or anyone who runs multiple AA-powered devices and wants a single station to keep them ready.

LCD status and refresh function

Each bay has its own LCD indicator showing charge progress for AA or AAA NiMH and NiCD cells. A discharge mode refreshes cells before charging, while the microprocessor detects defective cells and applies negative delta V cut-off to stop charging at the right moment.

Charge rates and mains flexibility

AA bays deliver 500 mA and AAA bays 250 mA, so AA cells of 2000–2900 mAh need four to six hours while AAA cells of 800–1200 mAh need three to five hours. The included 100–240 V AC adapter works worldwide, but the fixed currents mean faster charging of high-capacity cells is not possible.

Questions about this item

How many recharge cycles can the included AccuLoop-X AA batteries deliver before they need replacing?

The AccuLoop-X AA batteries are rated for up to 1000 recharge cycles before replacement is needed.

What charge current limits how fast the eight bays can replenish AA cells during sustained use?

Each AA bay supplies 500 mA, so the charger’s output current is the limiting factor for sustained charging speed.

How much power does the universal AC adapter draw when all eight bays are charging AA batteries continuously?

The adapter accepts 100–240 V input at 1 A, while the charger outputs 1.2 V at 500 mA per AA bay for a total of 4 A across eight bays.
