Sabrent CB-USBXT Transparent USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable 32 ft

32 ft USB 2.0 Active Extension

The Sabrent CB-USBXT extends a USB connection by 32 feet using an active signal booster built into the cable. It connects a standard USB Type-A male plug to a Type-A female port, allowing peripherals to operate beyond the usual distance limit. The transparent jacket shows the internal construction while the ABS and PVC materials protect the conductors. No external power supply is needed for the active circuitry.

Overcomes the 32 ft Passive Limit

This active cable defeats the standard USB 2.0 passive length restriction by regenerating the signal at the 32 foot mark. It maintains full USB 2.0 compliance with data rates up to 480 Mbps and remains backward compatible with USB 1.1 low and high speed devices. The plug and play design requires no driver installation on any supported operating system. It simply works when connected between a host and a device.

Daisy-Chain to 80 ft Total Length

Multiple CB-USBXT cables can be connected in series to reach a combined length of 80 feet without signal degradation. Each additional segment adds another 32 feet of active extension while preserving the 480 Mbps bandwidth. This modular approach lets installers route cables around obstacles or through walls in stages. The transparent connectors make it easy to verify a secure link at every joint.
