Dual-bay SATA dock connects two 2.5 or 3.5in drives via USB 3.0 with offline cloning up to 60Mbps and plug-and-play setup
This dock accepts two standard SATA hard drives or SSDs simultaneously. It supports drives up to 10TB and connects via USB 3.0 for plug-and-play operation without driver installation. Offline cloning between bays is available at up to 60Mbps.
The external USB 3.0 link limits sustained throughput to 5Gbps, falling back to 480Mbps on USB 2.0 and 12Mbps on USB 1.1. Internal SATA I/II/III drives will not exceed this ceiling, so cloning and bulk copies run at the USB bottleneck.
Verify that each drive fits the bay dimensions of 6.25in by 2.71in by 3.93in and that the included power adapter can supply both units. The dock weighs 1.56lb and requires a free USB port on the host system.

This model is the dual-bay version, giving you two slots so you can access two drives at once or run an offline clone from one drive to the other.
The 5 Gbps figure is the bus ceiling; real-world throughput will be lower and limited by the drive's own SATA speed, so expect typical SATA SSD or HDD rates rather than the full 5 Gbps.
Yes, the USB 3.0 link tops out at 5 Gbps while SATA III can reach 6 Gbps, so the dock's USB connection is the bottleneck for the fastest drives.
