SADES S18 Akimbo 16000 DPI mouse

The SADES S18 Akimbo is a right-handed optical gaming mouse with a maximum resolution of 16000 DPI and six programmable buttons. It connects through a 2.4 GHz wireless receiver or the supplied USB-C cable. The design targets players who want a lightweight wireless option without sacrificing wired responsiveness. Omron switches rated for 20 million clicks handle the primary buttons.

55-hour battery under continuous use

A 600 mAh lithium polymer cell delivers up to 55 hours of runtime when the RGB lighting is active and the mouse is in constant motion. The 40 G acceleration rating means tracking remains consistent during fast swipes across the pad. Wired operation removes any concern about charge level during extended sessions. The low-latency 2.4 GHz link keeps input delay minimal in wireless mode.

Check Windows version and hand preference

Official driver support lists Windows 98 through Vista, so modern Windows releases may rely on generic HID drivers and lose macro or RGB customisation. The shape is moulded for right-hand use only; left-handed buyers should look elsewhere. Verify that a free USB-A port is available for the 2.4 GHz dongle or a USB-C port for wired charging. No Bluetooth pairing is offered.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 600 mAh battery draw during a full 55-hour session?

The 600 mAh lithium polymer battery is rated for up to 55 hours of continuous use with lighting enabled; actual draw varies with RGB settings and DPI level.

What must I already own to use the 2.4 GHz wireless link on this mouse?

A free USB-A port for the 2.4 GHz receiver is required; the mouse also includes a USB-C cable for wired operation and charging.

Will the 16 000 DPI optical sensor work reliably on a Windows 98 machine I still keep?

The driver supports Windows 98 through Vista, so the 16 000 DPI sensor and six programmable buttons remain functional on those legacy systems.
