Safari Ltd People Tube

The Safari Ltd People Tube contains seven hand-painted mini figures representing everyday community roles such as a construction worker, policeman, mail carrier, pilot, chef, fireman and veterinarian. Designed for unisex play, the set suits children and educators who want durable figures for imaginative storytelling or classroom activities.

Reusable acetate tube packaging

The figures are supplied in a reusable acetate tube that provides storage and portability but is not a sealed display case; the plastic container can crack if dropped and offers no moisture barrier for long-term archival storage. The tube opening is wide enough for small hands but lacks a locking mechanism.

Seven hand-painted community figures

The set includes exactly seven distinct figures with no duplicates, each sculpted and painted by hand to show professional uniforms and accessories. Buyers who need larger crowds, specific historical eras or fantasy characters will not find them in this tube.

Questions about this item

Should I pick this People Tube or another Safari Ltd set for a community-helpers theme?

Choose this tube when you want seven distinct professions — construction worker, policeman, mail carrier, pilot, chef, fireman and veterinarian — in one reusable container; other Safari Ltd tubes focus on animals, dinosaurs or fantasy characters instead.

How do the hand-painted details hold up when children play with the figures daily?

Each mini figure is sculpted and painted by hand, so the uniform colours and facial features resist wear better than mass-sprayed alternatives, staying recognisable through repeated handling and classroom use.

Can the acetate tube be used to store other small toys once the figures are out?

Yes — the clear tube has a screw-on lid and enough internal height to hold LEGO minifigs, craft supplies or travel snacks after the original seven figures are removed.
