Dinosaur Figurine for Ages Three and Up

The Safari Ltd. Suchomimus figurine is a hand-painted model of the crocodile-mimic dinosaur. It measures 7.5 inches long by 3.75 inches high, or 19.25 cm by 9.75 cm. The piece is lead-free and safety tested for children aged three and older. Collectors and young dinosaur enthusiasts can use it for display or imaginative play.

Hand-Painted Detail and Safe Materials

Each figure is individually hand painted to show the distinctive long snout and clawed forelimbs that give Suchomimus its name. The paint application and moulded texture aim to stimulate learning about prehistoric life. No electronic components, sound modules or moving parts are included in the box. The only accessory is the figurine itself.

Display Scale and Handling Limits

The model is smaller than the Carnegie Dinosaur Collectibles line, so it fits standard display shelves without special mounting. Its fixed pose and solid construction mean the limbs and jaw cannot be repositioned. Rough play may chip the paint on the extended snout or claws over time. The figure has no articulated joints or electronic features.

Questions about this item

How should the hand-painted finish on the Suchomimus figurine be cleaned if it gets dusty?

Wipe the figure gently with a soft, dry cloth; avoid water or cleaning agents that could affect the hand-painted surface.

At 7.5 inches long, will the figurine fit on a standard 6-inch display shelf without overhang?

The figure measures 7.5 inches in length, so it will extend beyond a 6-inch deep shelf and needs a deeper surface.

Does the PVC material become warm or emit any odour when the figurine sits under display lighting all day?

The figure is made from lead-free, safety-tested PVC that remains stable at normal room temperatures and produces no noticeable odour under typical indoor lighting.
