Runner rug for bedrooms and living rooms

This machine-made polyester runner measures 3' x 5' and features a fluffy shag surface with a non-slip dotted backing. The modern mottling grey design suits bedrooms, living rooms, dorms and nurseries. It weighs 1.461 kilograms and is constructed from 100 percent polyester for a soft, plush feel underfoot.

Check floor type and cleaning routine

Ensure the intended surface is compatible with the anti-slip dotted backing to prevent movement on tile or hardwood. The care instructions advise regular vacuuming and spot cleaning with mild detergent. Allow fibres to recover and air out after unpacking, and keep the rug away from open flames.

Machine-made construction with anti-slip backing

The rug combines a faux fur top layer, a high-density sponge interlayer and a durable rubber-dot base that grips the floor without causing damage. This layered build resists shedding and fading while providing a comfortable, cloud-like texture for daily use in high-traffic areas.

Questions about this item

Does the runner arrive with a non-slip backing already attached or do I need to buy a separate rug pad?

The runner has durable anti-slip dots on the bottom so a separate pad is not required.

Should I choose the 3' x 5' runner or one of the larger rectangular sizes for a bedside spot?

The 3' x 5' runner fits beside a bed or in a narrow hallway, while the 4' x 6', 5' x 8' and 6' x 9' rectangles cover wider floor areas.

What does the 1.461 kilogram weight tell me about how the rug feels underfoot?

At 1.461 kg the runner is light enough to reposition easily yet dense enough to give a plush, cloud-like feel when you walk on it.
