Two-piece runner set for kitchen and standing areas

This Safavieh GENIMO set includes a 17.3"x47" runner and a 17.3"x30" mat in Light Taupe Brown. The 100% polyester construction features a checkered pattern and a .4" profile suited to hard floors. Designed for home kitchens, laundry rooms, or standing desks, the pair covers high-traffic zones where prolonged standing occurs.

Waterproof and oil-proof surface for spill

The top layer repels water and oil, keeping liquids from soaking through to the floor beneath. Spills wipe away with a damp cloth without machine washing. This surface treatment makes the set practical for sinks, stoves, and prep areas where splashes are frequent and quick cleanup is essential.

Memory foam core cushions extended standing sessions

Upgraded rebound memory foam compresses under weight and recovers slowly, distributing pressure across feet, knees, and lower back. The .4" thickness maintains its profile during long cooking shifts or desk work without bottoming out. Textured backing resists sliding on dry floors, though the surface must stay dry to prevent movement.

Questions about this item

How thick is the .4-inch runner once it is laid on the floor?

The mat measures .4 inches thick, providing a low-profile cushion that reduces foot fatigue while staying flat under cabinet toe-kicks.

What does the waterproof surface actually stop in daily use?

The waterproof and oil-proof top layer blocks spills, splashes and cooking oils from soaking through, so messes wipe away with a damp cloth.

Will the 17.3-inch width fit between my counter and island?

Each piece is 17.3 inches wide; the set includes a 47-inch runner and a 30-inch runner, so measure your clearance to confirm fit.
