Runner for bedrooms and play areas

The Safavieh Mugorn runner measures 3' x 5' and is machine-made from 100% polyester pile. Its rectangular shape and modern style suit bedrooms, nurseries, dorms or playrooms where a soft surface is wanted underfoot. The black colour family with a beige off-white tone blends with neutral or dark decor schemes.

Plush depth and everyday capacity

A total thickness of 1.7 inches gives a cloud-like feel that cushions tummy time, pet play and barefoot walking. The dense long fibres absorb daily foot traffic in low to medium use zones without flattening quickly. Heavily trafficked hallways or entryways with outdoor grit will wear the pile faster than lighter indoor areas.

Thermals and practical upkeep

Polyester fibres do not retain heat, so the rug stays neutral underfloor heating or in sunlit rooms. At .96 pounds it is light enough to lift for vacuuming or spot cleaning. The supplier advises keeping the rug away from heat sources and open flames and using the provided anti-slip pads to prevent movement on hard floors.

Questions about this item

Will the 1.7-inch thick pile clear the base of my existing bedroom furniture?

The total thickness including pile and backing is 1.7 inches, so measure your furniture clearance to confirm it fits underneath.

How can I verify the anti-slip backing is gripping my hardwood floor properly?

After placement, press down firmly and try to shift the rug; the dense grip dots should prevent any movement on hardwood, tile or vinyl.

Are the anti-slip pads mentioned in the care instructions included, or do I buy them separately?

The supplied anti-slip pads are included in the box; no separate purchase is needed.
